B&K 3/8-in Compression x FIP Adapter Coupling

I bought these fittings as I was repairing the ice maker line on my 28 year old refrigerator. I am 100% satisfied with the performance of this fitting as a transitional piece from copper to poly tubing.

Not for old hardened copper lines

 Would Not Recommend

The crimp ferrule is only one tapered on one side and the ferrule nut does not have enough threads to provide the force require to crimp the ferrule without stripping. I ended up buying a double taper sided crimp ferrule and a separate ferrule nut with more threads. They say the third time is a charm. Well it was in this case.
