What Customers Are Saying
The compression cap appears to be a generally useful and effective product for sealing off water lines, valves, and other plumbing fittings. Many customers found it worked as expected to stop leaks and facilitate home renovation projects, though some noted using a small washer or Teflon tape helped create a tighter seal. While a few had issues with the cap not fitting properly or leaking, the majority reported it as a reliable and versatile solution for various plumbing needs.

Cap Nuts Have Multiple Uses
Would RecommendI purchased this Cap Nut to keep the water from dripping from my water filter after I removed the water supply line. This worked excellent now I keep it in my tool bag and ready for the next use.

Life changer part!
We had some bozo techs leave our waterline to the dishwasher unhooked so we could install an electrical outlet to correct the former owners diy job. We needed a cap fast and Lowe’s had it in stock to save several days of leaking water until the installers came back to complete their work! Good to have a wide variety of hardware close by for emergencies!

Nice brass cap
Would RecommendNeeded a cap in case a valve wouldn’t stop leaking while working on a project.

Would RecommendClean threads, no stripping

Can’t just use by itself.
The cap fit the threads on the water valve exactly. But, I had to use a rubber washer inside the cap and teflon tape on the threads or it would leak.
