Poor manufacturing tolerance
The threads were cut too deep and it was impossible to tighten it to a leak free fit.

Would RecommendI was a bit worried when I purchased this adapter because I have seen reviews for similar products mentioning the quality assurance of these is fairly poor. Folks citing issues with improper threading, and even complete failure of the adapter in terms of cracking when tightening down. In my case I needed it for a water softener water line that I was connecting to a Y-Strainer, then connecting into the outgoing water line for the house. Overpriced fitting
Would Not Recommend$3.95 for a $1 fitting? Fittings like this are made on an automatic screw machine in a few seconds time. The price is outrageous.
