The correct solution
Would RecommendA new fuel filter had 2 straight barbs for in/out. A little big for mounting space. In factory form the outflow hose was slightly pinched. This 90°fitting is correct threads for the filter and the straight barb. It makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Free flow is a big plus, professional appearance a benefit as well.

Threaded Iron Pipe, NOT compression
Would Not RecommendI can find FIP / MIP elbows everywhere. I bought this one because it came up when I was searching for something to fit compression threads. I looked around on the item page here and I can't find anywhere saying it's FIP. It also mentions being good to keep you from kinking tubing. Which was exactly what was needed. Bending the common 3/8" tubing for fixtures in a tight area. (the packaging clearly states FIP, shame the item page couldn't do the same)
Used for air compressor drain valve
Would RecommendIt's made out of brass so it doesn't rust
