Would Not RecommendOk, nothing wrong with the fitting physically EXCEPT the web description shows this as a 3/8" Flare x 1/2" MIP adapter/union. That's correct up to a point... this is a HALF-CUT THREAD on the flare end vs a standard pipe thread! Think of it as being 'fine-threads' vs 'coarse-threads' with this one being the one that won't work with gas fittings and valves.
