Great product...but I think the company that makes it is gouging a bit, forcing the retailer ( Lowes, etc. ) to increase the price so much it would almost be less expensive to make it myself.

Threading is the same on both sides
Bought this for a water heater. The threads are the same on each side. I thought one side would be reversed, so I could tighten both ends of the pipe with this.
