BBQ hook up part

Would Recommend

I bought a BBQ in the morning and when I got home and took all the parts out I decided to check the Natural Gas connection on my house . Well or figures I needed a half inch to three eights reducer valve . Back I went to get that before I even started to assemble the Bbq. I went to the plumbing section and an older salesman asked if he could help me and in one minute I had exactly what I needed , went home assembled the BBQ and the reducer valve worked like a charm . Sorry I forgot the sales man...

Double male threaded adapter

Would Recommend

I bought this as an adapter for a propane hose for an older propane in line and works great. Recommend to get the yellow or gas Teflon tape.

Good product.

Works well. As stated on another review, I find especially with 3/8 and above tubing to get a good seal you need to use an elliptical flaring tool.

Good product.

Good product. Works well. Very impotent to have a good flaring tool on all tubing sizes but, on large flares it's even more important. You need to use an elliptical flaring tool above 3/8" to insure a good seal.

5/8" end is actually 1/2"

Would Not Recommend

There is about an 1/8'' on the inside at the end of the 5/8" section that is actually 1/2" ID, like a 'lip'. The next ~3/4" is 5/8" as advertised. Needless to say, if you try to slip this on a 5/8" OD pipe, it won't fit. Glad I didn't cut the pipe before measuring. Someone at the factory in China must have short stroked the drill press.
