Would RecommendI use these rivets & a hose clamp to attach 1” aluminum angle to 1 1/2” pvc pipe to make pole holders for surf fishing. They are sturdier & more economical than those that are commercially available. I have never had a failure.

stems break off
Would Not Recommendjust did a job using 150 rivets. used a ARROW air powered gun bought with the rivets. probably 50 rivet stems broke correctly down inside the rivet. the remaining 100 rivets, the first 3/8 inch of the stem snapped off. this does two things. 1- the stem fragment jams the gun. 2- the stem remains in the rivet so i had to break each off off with a hammer. big pain to use.

Would RecommendWith new Arrow rivet gun, the rivets snap the shaft too high. You end up using a hacksaw or Cut off tool. I recommend this for the smaller rivets,not the 3/16ths.
