Deck washer

Naturally the unit didn't fit my mower. A little tap with the drill, and it fit. I've used it twice and the underside of my deck has never been cleaner.

Easy Install

I got this deck wash kit for my mower, the install was as easy as remove the metal plug/cover on the deck, and insert this and fasten it with the provided fastener. When I'm done mowing I blow off the mower with leaf blower , then attach the hose turn water on and engage the blades for a minute and done. This fir perfectly on Troybilt mower. I had Lowe's price match the competition as the part /upc# was exactly the same saved five bucks on price match.

Easy to install

This was really easy to install but I have not actually used it yet due to frigid weather.

Avoid if you can

Made from cheap plastic. You can buy quality brass quick connects male and female that can be used for virtually any application except deck wash ports because they are a different diameter. Furthermore you have to buy the complete kit even though you only need the female connector. The female connector is of such poor quality that you are lucky to get a years use out of one. $15 every year to replace this garbage. Talk about fleecing customers but what choice do you have.

Waste of money.

Item does not seal well and sprays about as much water above deck as it does below deck..

Nice Complete Lawn Mower Deckwash kit.

This kit gives you almost everything you need for a Deckwash kit for your lawn mower except the drill bit. The instructions are poor and incomplete. It doesn't tell you what diameter hole to drill into your deck, where exactly to drill and what direction to face the jet output from the fitting. After figuring that out for myself by inspecting a lawn mower with this feature already built in. The hose fitting doesn't quite seal well with the deck fitting provided, so there is some on top leaking w...

It does the job.

After I got it installed and cut the grass--I used it and it did a very good job. I wish I had bought it sooner.

Handy tool

Purchased for my Troy-Bilt Bronco. Installation time less then 4 minutes and makes washing the cutting deck a snap..

Item will not work as packaged

The Quick connect has a built in check valve that is the wrong direction for the needed water flow It will work if you fix the quick connect by removing check valve.. (remove the rubber hose washer, punch out the check valve assembly, remove the valve, replace the check valve retainer and the rubber washer.)

Nice addition to my push mower...

I purchased a new push mower and it did not come with a deck wash system. There was a dimple in the deck where one would go, but the manufacturer chose not to put one. I had this installed in about 20 minutes or so, all I needed was my drill, a drill bit to make a pilot hole and a step drill bit. Once installed the deck wash system worked great. I would recommend this to anyone who needs or simply wants one on ANY brand mower. This will work on a push mower and a riding mower.
