Would Not RecommendBought this for a quick fix and 1/8 inch is the right diameter to thread through the holes and wind onto a Briggs Quattro pulley. The 88" length was not long enough to run up to the mower handle after the rewind mechanism winds in all 88 inches. Rope appears to be just cheap nylon 1/8" which you can buy anywhere and 110 inches would save you a knot, but kit is handy and relatively cheap..
CHEAP QUICK FIX
I'd say this works for a cheap, quick fix. The rope is thin so I don't think you will get many years of use before it breaks. The pro is it's cheap so you can just get another.
