Not for my Mulching blade
Would RecommendI couldn’t use the grinder on my blade because of the curves in the mulching blade. If you have a straight blade it should work. The balance part worked great.

Would RecommendIt works pretty well for routinely sharpened blades. As soon as I used it to sharpen a very dull snapper ninja blade, the plastic guide started shedding itself against the blade. i would definately pay an extra dollar or two if the guide were metal.

Would RecommendDont know why anyone would send their lawn mower off for a tune up. This piece takes care of the blade sharpening just using your drill. Slip off, sharpen, balance and replace. Took 10 min start to finish.

Does the intended job well
Would RecommendThe balance unit works well and is reliable. The grind stone allows you to get a good angle grind on the blade while maintaining angle with the blade itself. It has a tendancy to grab and walk off the blade if you use too much radial pressure, but practice makes perfect. Recommend a vice when completing to allow quickest and safest manipulation of the blade.

Would RecommendMy lawn mower blade so dull, it was thick, rounded off and couldn’t cut jello since I never sharpened it once in five years. LOL. I thought for $8, this might be worth it, instead of hassling for an hour with a metal file. Within 5 mins, and no effort, both sides of the blade were like a samuri sword, and there was zero wear on the stone! I can’t wait to sharpen the blade again. Love this thing!
