Would Not RecommendI read directions and tried product on some used blades. I used a permanent marker to see where material was being removed. No material was being removed by the edge. I bought some brand new gator blades. I made sure the guide plate was square with the back of blade. Same results. I bought another sharpener, thinking I damaged the first. Same results. I have also tried this product on NEW Dixion and NOS wheel horse blades. Same results. The angle is not the same as brand new blades! The guide pl...
Throw away the sharpening bit and keep the balance
Would Not RecommendUse a grinder. This is a bad design and takes way too long to grind a dull and chipped blade back to shape. Its hard on your drill as you have to put side pressure to keep the round hone from running off your blade. The balancing kit works well.

Would RecommendIt Allows me to sharpen & balance blades quickly, accurately & safely. Remember to wear safety glasses when using the sharpening tool. The only reason I rated it "4" is because the balancing tool is made of plastic & you know what happens to plastic ovet time. Worth the money in my opinion.

Would RecommendEasy to use and puts the proper angle on the blade. I had been using a file to sharpen my blades and over time the angle was off. With the Arnold sharpener I was able to correct the angle and now the blades cut like new.
