Would RecommendWe were looking for a larger, newer, mailbox and this one looked really good in the local store. Our local store was out of stock so we waited and purchased one from another Lowes. I got it home and removed the old mailbox and painted the post, then I opened the box. First the door magnet was adjusted incorrectly and some how the flag was bent. I fixed those 2 things and installed the mailbox on the post and then looked and the nice heavy door was missing an assembly rivet, right near my old ...

Difficult to mount since the holes didn't line up with the existing holes from my last mailbox, which was also purchased from Lowe's. And I cannot understand why all mailbox flags aren't red! Who wants a silver flag?! But when my neighbor tried to switch my old red flag for the new silver flag, even the flag mounts were totally different...he jerry-rigged it, and made extra holes in my new mailbox!!!

Would RecommendGot to say this box is huge, and I love it save the mail person from walking to the door with multiple packages. This box will hold them with ease. Solidly made. Has a magnet to hold the door close so their is less likely hood of the box popping open.
