Would RecommendThe hardware kit (nut, bolts, screws) had the poorest quality fasteners that I have seen this century. The hex heads of the nuts and bolts were neither metric nor fractional SAE sized. The threads were very sloppy out of spec. Use your own quality fasteners for peace of mind. The steel post and top plate seemed adequate.
Sturdy mailbox pole
Would RecommendSturdy, hopefully will prevent future vandalism by drive-bys

Strong steel post
Would RecommendStrong steel, should last practically forever
This post is the right length, no cutting.
Would RecommendSomeone ran over my mailbox and post. It was fairly new and I regretted replacing it. This post fit the mailbox (undamaged) perfectly. That cut down on the cost and the labor involved.
Sturdy
Would RecommendThis was very easy to install. We did not use cement and it is sturdy and solid. Very Nice! We marked off with masking tape the depth on the pole and dug deep enough to meet the tape line. Done Deal!

Careful not to lose a screw
Would RecommendPretty simple to install. Took me about an hour to dig, concrete, and install the mailbox. One huge piece of advice, try to use a water cup or something to advert having screws fall through the pole. The hex bits don't appear to screw in all the way and unable to find a replacement. The base is a tad loose because of this. Perhaps I just got faulty parts
