Ratings & Reviews for Architectural Mailboxes Galvanized Steel Hardware Mailbox mounting bracket
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the straightforward installation and adjustable design that accommodates various mailbox sizes, with many noting secure mounting and included hardware. However, several report concerns about durability, describing brackets as flimsy and lightweight, prone to bending or rusting within a few years. Some mention wobbling or shifting when opening the mailbox door and note incomplete hardware or missing fasteners. Despite durability concerns, most customers find the ease of installation and functionality worthwhile for basic mounting needs.

Ease of use. I recommend adding four 4" deck screws for added stability. Mu previous mail box got knocked off the post.

Works fine
Would RecommendAfter I adjusted the brackets to accommodate the width of the mailbox, I Scotch-taped the two bracket pieces together, which made it easier to drill holes for the brackets and install them on my wooden post. I put an extra screw in to fasten the bracket to the post. So far, it holds my new mailbox securely.
Function as intended

Too flimsy.
Would Not RecommendI was replacing five neighborhood mailboxes at once and thought these would be a good thing to use. Wrong! They were too flimsy, they allowed the mailbox to wiggle on the board when opening and closing that door. The smarter thing would be to just mount a board on the post and screw into the board.
Rusted away just under 3 years, was very flimsy.
Would Not RecommendI installed this in September 2021 and the mailbox has flopped around since then. Last week I noticed it was leaning further than usual, I found that the one of the 4 pieces was rusted off.
