Mailbox door and hinge are weak.
Would Not RecommendWe've had this mailbox for 2 years and the hinge is tight and has rusted. Now it causes the weak steel of the door to bend instead of moving the hinge. I've done everything to lubricate it but the steel door is too weak to overcome the resistance in the hinge. The mailbox is otherwise in good shape. It's just very cheaply built. All it needs is a little bit of a stronger gauge steel on the door and it would be fine.
