Life saver

I tried about 5 different patches on my daughter's inflatable pool and none worked but this product fixed it right away such a relief saved me money and was super easy directions were a bit vague but over all very pleased with this product will definitely use again and recommend this to anyone that needs a patch

Great product !!!

Tried the nationally advertised product first, FLEXSHIELD, that was a waste of time at $12.99 a can. This product fixed my leak in less than four hours. Flexshild never even dried. I would buy Aqua again.

Worked on our inground pool

I had a 1/2 inch rip in the deep end of the pool near the bottom. My vinyl liner pool was losing 3 inches a day. I held my breathe and went for it and it worked like a charm. NO MORE LEAK! So happy!

Not useful for inflatables

This kit claims to be a multipurpose vinyl repair kit for inflatables and it is not. The packaging shows various patches but what is really inside is several of the ultra-cheap self-adhesive patches that come with most inflatables, and one large piece of clear shower curtain. The self adhesive patches work as well as the ones you get with your inflatables, which is to say not at all. The shower curtain material on the other hand dissolves and curls up almost as soon as you apply the liquid glue ...

It works!!!!

I just couldn't imagine how this was going to work on the bottom of a 18 x 48 pool full of water. Not only did it work...but it lasted for years. Unfortunately, a large tree limb fell and took the whole pool out (but the patch actually remained unscathed). We've just recently used the patch kit on our new pool and it's working like a charm. one of the best purchases ever

I searched and searched the internet and watched YouTube videos. I saw that Lowe's carried this product. I followed the directions to apply the patch for 2 holes about the size of a pencil eraser on the bottom of the pool. The product worked as intended, so far.. It's been 2 weeks and no sign of water loss. The patches are holding strong.. My pool is an Intex 18' x 48" pool with the metal rails and vinyl liner that they sell at Walmart. The pool was full of water when the patches were applied......

Inexpensive, but it works

I bought this pool patch kit to avoid having to call a pool repair guy back out after he'd missed a couple of holes. I watched a few videos on YouTube before trying it myself, glad I did. The box didn't really do a good job of explaining how to use the product properly, but making sure to use plenty of the adhesive was the trick for me. Love this stuff!!

I really didn't know if it would work since it was so cheap...I was wrong! I had a pretty big hole and it fixed it. Also fixed the little ones as well. You have to be quick on apply it because it does dry extremely fast. Only thing I wish it had would be more of the small oval patches.

Great purchase but not clear instructions

This was a great purchase - as per recommended by a Lowes Home Improvement employee. I was a bit unclear as to what to do after reading the instructions. They were vague and since there were 2 patch types, I wasn't sure which one the instructions were referencing. All in all, whatever we did - the patch held - yes, even in water!!

Tried to use it on an above ground pool . Waited 24 hrs to dry but didn't hold up. Might work on smaller things but definitely would not recommend it for an above ground pool.

Does the job but can be aggravating

I read the reviews on this product before I got it so I was aware of potential curling of the patching material when glue is applied. And yes, the product does curl up with the glue on it. The glue also dries extremely fast. I quickly found that I need to apply a thick coat of glue on the vinyl (kind of like putting a lot of ketchup on fries) to keep it from drying before I could get the patch on the pool underwater - the more glue the better. Worth the effort and price

I read the reviews on this product and agree with most of the other reviews. this is a good value and the product works well. I did have an issue with the patch curling when the glue was applied, but having the right tools available and a bit of practice helps. I found after I put enough glue in the center of the patch, I applied the patch quickly and used a cement trowel to move the glue from the center of the patch toward the edges. Life Saver!!

This little kit is awesome it comes with multiple different repair patch types and plenty for your money. I didn't need to use the waterproof patch but I am thoroughly curious about it. For me it was just an air mattress repair. With the self adhesive patch it was back in use in no time.

Under Water Patches Work!

I bought this kit primarily for its advertised ability to seal an underwater leak. The thought of draining the pool to repair a small hole made me cringe. Luckily, the patches included with this kit work as they are designed, and adhere under water!

Works great to repair inflatable coleman mattress

I bought this product to repair a tear on an inflatable Coleman air mattress. The tear was about 1 " long. This product worked great! not only do you get a long strip of plastic that you can custom cut for the size you need but there is so much that I don't foresee buying another repair kit for a very long time! Does not work under water

The vinyl patch material curls up almost immediately upon applying the adhesive. The product does not adhere to the vinyl side wall of the pool , particularly if applied under water, even after strictly following the directions on the box.

Glue is too strong for the rubber patches. Before you can place the patch it is bubbling and shrinking.

Awesome Product

I purchased this product to fix a pretty big hole in the bottom of my pool. Did not have to drain the pool, very easy instructions, no wrinkling and curling up of the corners. The glue does set up very quickly so once you apply it to the vinyl patch be ready s to stick it down. Definetly recommend this!!!!!
