“Heavy” in the water

I think because of the finer mesh this is harder to push through the water than my previous skim. This is especially noticeable once it gets a couple leaves in there. But I can tell this is a more rugged skimmer that will last longer.

Great net

Sturdy, thick netting with fine mesh for smaller particles. Just what I needed. Buy it when you need a new net.

Skimmer net

Very durable, easily picks up debris off the bottom of the pool.

Easy to use, gets everything easily.

Used it immediately upon arriving home. Big pine tree nearby to pool, so plenty of pine needles at every strong breeze. The opening construction makes it easy and quickly accomplished. Surprised at how much it holds, therefore also no lightweight. Emptying is simple, simply flip it over above pile/pail and it empties quickly. There is a tab on the outside of net which make it easy to reverse. Bottom cleanup is ok.

Breaks

I used this net for just a short time and it broke at the connection. I received a free replacement. Maybe this will last longer.

Worked great for getting the winter leaves out of the bottom. I didnt even have to vacuum when I opened it up this spring.

Great angled pool rake

The angle of the net on the edge that contacts the bottom of the pool effectively scoops everything inside! Love it!

Effective

I have always used the flat type pool skimmer nets and have gone through too many to count. This deep net skimmer works great. It is very easy to use and easy to empty. It holds a lot of trash without falling out of the net like the flat ones do. I am able to clean the pool in a shorter amount of time and it is effective in getting leaves off of the bottom of the pool. So far, it seems to be very sturdy.

I like this product because of the metal neck. I have used nets with plastic necks that break off easy. This has been the best net that I have purchased over the last 5 years.

POOL SKIMMER USED FOR KOI POND

I purchased this pool skimmer to be used for removing leaves in my koi pond. So far it is holding up and I have problems with the net.

Well made, with metal frame

Like this skimmer. The metal frame is much stronger than the all-plastic type which can break relatively easily. Also like the tab handle on bottom that facilitates emptying. Competitively priced to internet sales.

Not enough net

This net needs to be deeper. It is too hard to scoop the bottom of the pool.
