Easy to read

We tie this thermometer to our pool ladder so it is easy to find and reach. It is also very easy to read, with larger numbers than most.

Average thermometer

Does the job I need it to. Nothing fancy but works just fine. Not pricy compared to others of the same quality.

So far so good

I deducted 1 star in my overall rating only because I don't know how long it will last. I purchased it last month. I use it as a sinking thermometer. I tether it to pool ladder so top of thermometer is about 15" below the surface of the water. Hold thermometer underwater in a vertical position and it will fill with water and sink. As for accuracy, all I can say is that it reads exactly the same as the one I've used for several years. It's fairly easy to read. I'm very satisfied so far.

I like this because it is easy to read. Price was very reasonable in my opinion.

Works well and near kid proof........

At least they have not broke this one yet. Works well and easy to read numbers, nice to now how well the water is heating at the start of pool time...................

Pool or spa thermometer

This thermometer works appropriately to accurately tell the water temperature. Because it floats, it cannonly measure the temperature near the surface. Would be even more useful if the float could be detached to allow it to hang deeper in the water to better measure the actual, deeper water temperature.

How can garbage get worse?

I keep replacing these every time they break, thinking that perhaps someone just abused the device. But each time I buy, it lasts less time than the previous ones. And now I can't blame it on my kids, because they are all grown up and out of the house. This last one fell apart in just 2 months. This product is complete garbage. Don't waste your money. Rates as 0 stars if such rating were available.

Hard to Go Wrong

A thermometer is a thermometer is a thermometer. Only defect is that it does not verbally announce the temp.

Great pool thermometer

Good price. Basic & simple, on a leash so we can always find it. Very accurate. We like the flat top, too. (You can customize to match your decor with a dollar store item and a hot glue gun).

Defective after one day

Floated in water fine, however, the actual thermometer inside the plastic case fell out of the ring that holds it and was leaning to one side an no longer readable

Floating Pool Thermometer

The product is very easy to use and even better to read than some of the smaller thermometers. I have noticed that the temperature it measures is about 2 degrees higher than what the actual pool temperature of the water. I suspect this is because it floats near the top of the water which is heated up higher than the water down lower. Once water circulates it should measure more accurately.

It works

If they could decrease the range of the thermometer, they could make it easier to read. Make sure you keep it in the water while you're reading it for more accurate results :)

stuck on 104°

When purchasing this thermometer we were excited to bring it home to replace a twenty year old one. When we placed it in the pool it remained on 104° all three days. We know it was not that temperature for sure. Dissatisfied because when we went to return it there were none in stock!!
