Would RecommendGood quality water heater connector, which allows for easy installation and later replacement of a water heater. With the taller water heater I purchased, the shorter connectors were much easier to work with. Lowe's should also include the following specs on their website, which I had to procure from Apollo to pass my local inspection code: Temperature Rating: 32°F - 250°F, Supply Pressure: 200 psi, Warranty: 5 years, Corrosion Resistant, NSF/ANSI approved. Would RecommendI used it together with a "push fitting" on each end to join a couple of old copper pipes meeting at right angles together. Worked great!
