Would RecommendThese hoses last as long as the end fittings. I have replaced my hoses every time I change locations or washing machine. 4 hose changes in 23 years. The ends are usually worse than the hoses themselves. I see no need to spend more for a braided sheath on hoses that are out of sight and outlast their connections. The hoses with the metal braided exterior are more aesthetically appealing, I just don’t see my wash machine plumbing as decorator items.

Would Not RecommendThese were installed for two weeks with a new washer we purchased at Lowe's and the hoses and started leaking at one of the seams in the elbow resulting in a large puddle under the washer. Fortunately our washer was in an unfinished area. After this occurred I read the reviews and saw that this has happened to other customers. I returned these hoses to Lowe's and bought another brand. I would not purchase this brand again.
