Was reccommended to us by an arborist to fertilize some flowering trees we have. Easy to mix and use but beware that it does emit VERY strong odor! You will definitely smell it around your yard for the first 48 hours or so. You probably will not want to use it near any decks, or other areas where you will be sitting outdoors, or under open windows, for the first couple days after application!

This stuff may smell a bit when mixing and applying it, but it's worth it because IT WORKS! I use it on my veggies, my flowering shrubs, houseplants, and even trees. Tip: Mix it outside to keep the smell outside, and if you get it on your hands, wash them thoroughly. Also, don't be suprised if the neighborhood cats nose around in your yard for an hour or so looking for the fish they can smell!

Is it supposed to be a thick paste?

I don't see any issue or leaks with the jug or sealed cap, but my intention of pouring it into a measuring spoon won't work when it's thicker than toothpaste. Is it still okay to use? I don't want to give a low rating if this isn't an issue...someone recommended it to me and swears by it.

Stinks but works

This stuff stinks, but the amount of new growth I have gotten since using this is worth the smell. Only use once every 3 weeks.

Fast growing greens.

Check the seal before buying

I feel like it was cheaper last time I bought a bottle. But a bottle lasts a very long time for my 23 indoor plants. One problem though, by the time I got home I found that my bottle had already been opened and used. Not much of it was gone from the bottle but someone had already poked a whole in the seal. Strange.

Would work better if totally liquid

I first tried to get the product out, expecting it to be liquid, and it wouldn't come out. I discovered it was almost a solid plug. I shook it and could hear the product slosh around. I tried again but only got a thick plug. I couldn't push it back into the bottle and had to dig it out. Of course I knew this was fish waste and would smell, I used some years ago, but this is almost unusable. It stuck to everything. And of course, everything smelled.
