Would RecommendThe first two i purchased were great. I needed 2 more. Sorry to say they were not in good working order. One was missing the the small rod to turn. The other one would not turn after a few turns. I am finally getting my projet done, with alot more effort than I should have had to.
Plan on painting it before installing.
Would RecommendThe paint was falling off of this post. It had to be cleaned, primed and painted before it could be used. It was obvious that it was not prepared and primed properly at the factory.

Would RecommendDelivery takes a long time. First one showed up with one end broken off so I had to start over. Second one has paint chipping off & more paint ripping off when packing tape & cardboard (there to protect the paint!) is removed. Other than that it works fine.
Upside-down??
Would RecommendIn the picture, the adjustment is made from the bottom of the jack. I have seen these used many times, in several applications and the adjustment has always been at the top. Even the label on the jack, is placed upside-down. Has everyone (including me) been using these wrong all my life?? Other than that, the product works great!

Would RecommendFirst of all ,these are a great deal at this price, and when you get them in you'll really like the quality of construction. I also bought the saddles that bolt into the top and wrap around the beams, it has a swivel down on the bottom where the adjustment is which helps while you're getting everything plumb, and even the 3" size which is what I ordered were really, really strong (10,000 pounds at 111 inches or something close to that). Non-common Size Product Makes It A Great Solution
Would RecommendIt's difficult to find a jack post with this size and Lowe's happens to carry it. Love it!
