Would RecommendI have not installed these yet but they appear to be quality items. Just be aware that the plates. the tube, and the jack screw are all separate parts. Effectively, this means the structure needs to be held in place by other means while the plates are attached (top and bottom). Then the tube and jack assembly can be positioned (between the plates) and the screw turned to take up excess slack. Only then will it stay in place for adjustment.
Better than competing products for my intended use
Would RecommendI liked this product better than jack posts I saw at other stores because it is a solid member except for the screw adjustment on the end. Although this results in the product being less adjustable than competing products, I deemed it better suited for a permanent installation where the needed length was well defined.

Would Not RecommendNone here in store although aisle 21 bay 10 is cited. Thiught electronic inventory was supposed to be accurate. Guess not.
Insecure jack
The bracket that is supposed to stabilize the support does not connect securely to the jack. I do not recommend.

Would RecommendThe support was as described. It’s supporting a large wooden beam in our hundred year-old farmhouse. The directions were easy to understand during assembly.

Would Not RecommendThe product was not like anything in the photographs. The threads were damaged on one of them to the point I am unable to use it. They are way overpriced. I had to go purchase a different jack of a different design because these were too cheap to use.
