These seemed like a good idea

I thought I’d be smart and save money with these. Four years ago I bought 2 and was faithful with cleaning (using the recommended spray) and rinsing. I thought my furnace needed repair when the air flow drastically went down this summer. I cleaned the outside unit and then the furnace fan as well as replaced the capacitors in both. Terrible packaging, only 7/8 in thick, air gaps

Not only did FedEx mess up and deliver the package 3 days late past the confirmed date, the shipping packaging was all wrong. I checked with AirCare and they said that is how they normally package filters. Also, the filters are 7/8 thick not 1 inch thick. There is a lot of room for air to go around the filter, and because it is heavy from so much metal, it doesnt suck upward to form a seal when the fan motor turns on. Bad packaging, uncaring unprofessional company

The package arrived 3 days late through FedEx mistakes. Noticed package was awfully thin. Picked it up and could feel the filters sliding all over the place. Opened box and steel framed filters were not in individual product boxes nor did they have basic post manufacturing plastic wrap. The shipping box was about 1/3 of an inch thinner than the two filters on top of each other, but the filters slid easily despite the bax being a little thin. Never buy another furnace filter

Fit perfectly in my furnace. Good quality at a fair price.

I needed 12×30 in size.

They were the incorrect size and returned.

Not As Advertised

I bought this for the express reason that it measured 20X30, precisely. Most are 29.5 X 19.5 which leaves a nice gap for air to whistle around the filter. My research indicated that this special forever guy would actually be 20x30 but it is not. It's 29.5 X 19.5 and whistles just like the one I replaced with it. The cheapo 30-day fiberglass cardboard frame filter does indeed measure 20X30, with no whistle. Lesson learned.

Not a true fit - Nosy

I like that filter is washable. I do not like that it is not a true fit. I put in a new filtrate filter and took this product out as when air kicks on it clicks as it gets sucked up to vent. Then it clicks back down after each cycle.

Seems to work great.

Just installed the electrostatic air filter. Installed like a regular filter. Did not have a direction of flow arrow so I guess you can install either direction. Hoping to save some money by being able to just wash it instead of replacing when dirty. Time will tell.

I just got my filters. I bought 2 because then I can change the filter and wash the one I take out. I had a difficult time getting the cardboard one out so I am looking forward to the easy removal of this one. I noticed it was quieter. I read the reviews before I bought so that is why I decided to buy 2 because I don'r want to worry about the length of drying time.

The filter was as expected. On the web site it said a two day delivery, it took a week and a half.

Complete Mess

Several places the metal mesh was outside the frame. The frame was bent. The filter flopped around inside the frame. Returned. Am going to order another one and hopefully it will be as good as the other two smaller ones I got.

takes hours to dry

I rinsed this filter a couple of times and each time I rinsed the filter, it takes hours (12 hours at least) for it to dry properly. This leaves a concern of the potential for mold or any other fungus to develop due to the filter possibly not drying fully before reinserting it into the ac handler.

Pickup was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and got my order immediately.
