Would RecommendMade in USA & did the job
Great accessory.
Would RecommendEasy to put together and use.
Works well, assembly not friendly
Would RecommendFirst off, the assembly instructions for a made in America product could be much better. Also frustrating was that they shorted me one bolt that was necessary and caused a run to the hardware store. Lastly on assembly, there is no way you can secure the tines with a screwdriver, it will never bend the tab, you must use a hammer. The overall operation was great but the tongue to attach to my John Deere was short and I have to get an extender to properly attach to my tractor. I went with the A...
What them closely
I don't like the fact that I'm being billed for a cash purchase on my now closed cc.we will get it straightened out.biteme
WOW THATCH
Would RecommendThe product was easy to use and to put together. Also definitely took dead thatch out of lawn. Had to reseed lawn but was going to over seed anyway. There were some stops that needed more seed. But it was first time using pull behind thatcher.
Wow a lot of thatch
Would RecommendI used day after purchase. It seemed to work well removing the thatch layer. I have .35 acres to do. It was more aggressive in some spots. I might use less weight next time. The only down fall handle is kinda flimsy. But I was able to put in transport and thatch mode. Pic of all the thatch that came out of yard.
Not worth the price
Would Not RecommendI am neutral about this product. The price doesn’t match the item, material it’s made of, and how it completes its task. If you know someone that has one, borrow theirs first. Also, it takes up space, especially with that handle. Does “a job” but not a job that you would “aw” over. If you use baggers, this maybe more work than you want…granted you may use this a few times a year, storage and exchange it to use is somewhat of a thorn
quality
Very well made. it is easy to mount to the platform.

Steel thickness not what advertised in specs
Would Not RecommendI purchased this model at 50% more than another model because it stated it was 7 ga steel on the Lowes web specifications. When I got it home, the tine shield (item 6) measured 0.104" thick which is 12 ga. The hitch mount arms (item 7) and lift handle (item 10) are 7 ga steel. Item 10 may still need to be stiffened with a piece of angle iron as it is flimsy when assembled.

Good value for getting the job done
Would RecommendDoes the trick well (as long as you have a couple of cinder blocks for weight). Not particularly heavy duty but a good value for the money. The handle bar for lifting its height is flimsy but other than that, I'm happy I purchased it.
Lift Handle is too flimsy
Lift handle is junk. Mine bent like an "S" during first use.

Follow the manual set up procedure!
Would RecommendFollow the instructions precisely! Be sure to level the front and rear tines, while attached to tow device, and use the (two) supplied carriage bolts and nuts in the slot to secure the positioning- leveling of the tines. They should contact the ground at the same time when lowered with just a slight bend in the tines. Two Concrete "Patio" stones ( approximately less than 2"X8"X16") worked great! Pulled up a lot of thatch and some weeds without destroying good grass. Any more weight than this wou...
Needs added weight
Would RecommendAbsolutely love it. Some have complained about assembly time. Alittle common sense and mechanical knowledge and I had mine out of the box and in use in less than 1hr. YOU WILL NEED SOME PAVERS FOR WEIGHT!!! I tried it without, and it just jumped and bounced. I found some decorative pavers for $3.00 each and put one on each end and problem solved. You will have to pull it slow behind your mower even with added weight. I bought the 40” model. Wished I would have gone with the 48” as mine is nar...
