Would RecommendMany of the plants available for AeroGarden are not necessarily things that that I grow. I almost always use the grow anything packs. I've grown peas and beans, many many varieties of micro dwarf and dwarf tomatoes including Micro Tom, Tiny Tim, Orange Hat, Geranium Kiss, Bundaberg Rumball. Herbs come out bland
Would Not RecommendI am growing jalapenos, serranos, and cilantro. The peppers are growing nicely, but only 1 out of 3 cilantros sprouted. And the cilantro itself is very bland, not the sharp flavor I've come to expect. I found the same with dill and other herbs: almost no flavor.

Would RecommendGot this as a mother's day gift for my mom. She loves to garden. Some seeds don't take, but the ones that do really shoot up fast. We'll have plants that sprout and are ready for potting within 2-3 weeks. We can leave them in there longer if need be, but we have been pumping out plants recently. Great starter for any plant!!

This set provided everything needed to grow your own herb seeds in Aerogarden. I recommend, however getting a set large enough to provide some additional growing inserts. One seed group did not grow and I had to replace it but I didn’t have extras. The kit is a little pricey so it would be nice if they’d provide a few more. I don’t know if the issue was with my seeds or the product. I was pleased that the labels provided are stuck on, not iron on. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about prior kit...

Grow your own-Not!
I haven’t been able to grow anything. I have tried several different kinds of seeds and they seem to grow moldy and won’t sprout. I have had tremendous luck with the pre seeded pods, but not the grow your own
