AcuRite Digital Weather Station - Wireless

This is really nice to have. It shows the current temperature along with the high and low for the day, the future forecast, and the time and date. It's so easy, you just put batteries in the indoor unit, and the outdoor unit (the white gadget shown in pic), then hang or place the outdoor unit on your porch out of direct sunlight. This is also a great gift for that "hard to buy for" person.

Attractive and modern.

Does what it says and is accurate, well, as accurate as possible using only barometric pressure and temp changes to predict rain.

Workes as described

Works well. With the Acurite sensor cover temperatures are accurate and not affected by direct sunlight. I now have 2 Acurite Weather systems.

Large display, east to read, and seems very accurate.

Digital Weather Station

The AcuRite Weather Station Wireless Outdoor Sensor is not worth the money it costs. After two weeks, the device constantly reported 53 degrees F. whether the temperature was higher or lower than that. I do not recommend this product.

indoor outdoor thermometer

Wanted an indoor/outdoor thermometer with a clock. This fit the requirements was easy to set up and seems to work very well

Should be called Acu Wrong

bought first one. indoor temperature would not read. returned and bought another one. unit works but temps are off 3 degree's. checked specs on AcuRite's web site. Their own specs show sensor range is +/- 3 degrees. are you kidding ?. who wants a thermometer that isn't within 1 degree. Stay away from AcuRite !!.

Personal weather station

Don't have to turn on the t.v., radio, computer, or look at the paper or cell phone. Every time I walk into my kitchen I can see the outside temperature. Love this device!

I use my AcuRite weather station everyday so, I will know how to dress for the day.

Simple, easy to set up with clear display. Has all the weather info I like to have.

this thing reads way off

See pic below...current temp outside is 58 currwnt indoor temp is 69 ..have this im my garage which i keep set on 69 i jave tried all 3 (A,B,C) settings and see no difference in outside unit. I like the setup and looks of the thermometer though

Indispensable

Bought this weather station to enable me to get outside temperature to dress appropriately for the outside weather. Easy to set up and thereafter works without further actions. Wouldn't do without one.
