Would RecommendIt is hard to get this to stick to a wall in a freezer or refrigerator for some reason but it works well.
Easiest way to check the temperature outside
Would RecommendI just stuck this outside my kitchen window and can check the outside temperature year round. It's easy to read during the day. It does not have a lighted background so you won't be able to read it in the dark but you can just turn the lights on.
Love It!
Would RecommendPurchased three of the digital thermometers at approximately $8 each and rely on them to give me accurate temps outdoors. Can't beat the price and ease of reading the digital readout. Good price and nice window size.
Works well but a little hard to read
Would RecommendAs others have written, it is a simple and effective way to record the current, high, and low temperatures. We have this on the outside of a kitchen window which is convenient but to read it we have to look toward the brighter outdoor light and that makes the display a little hard to see the temperatures.
Good little thermometer
Would RecommendThis is the second time I purchased this thermometer. I thought the first one was broken after one year but after purchasing this one I discovered that my husband in trying to replace the battery had not put it in correctly. So now we have two and they both work great. accurate and easy to read.
Digital is the way to go
Would RecommendI bought a regular thermometer and it stayed on 40 degrees. I can read it easily and it seems to be pretty accurate. It is really handy with suction cup. Wish it had a lite glow to read at night without flashlite.
Avoid this
Would Not RecommendThe thermometer will not stay on the window. I tried five times on three windows (all cleaned first); the devise fell to the snow each time. I'm done with it.
some good some bad
Would Not RecommendI bought this to use on an outdoor window so I could check the temps before heading out. First of all, forget the suction cup working in cold weather. No sooner was it placed on the window pane than it popped off. I ended up putting the gauge at the bottom of the window on the sill instead. Secondly, the battery is a button type- not inexpensive to replace. I will use this until the battery goes and then possibly replace it with a large thermometer type that needs no batteries. For now it registe...
Keeps falling down
Would Not RecommendThe thermometer works well and is durable but I can't get it to stay on my window. The suction cup doesn't work well and I keep having to dig the thermometer out of my bushes.
Returned it
Would Not RecommendPut it on front door storm window facing northside of house. Impossible to read the readout. Too dark. Had to open the door to get enough light to read it.
Great stick-on window thermometer
Would RecommendLike our new window thermometer. Easy to set up and apply to the window. Put it high enough you can read it easily and in a position that will get inside light so you can read it at night. Haven't had it long enough to know how long the batteries will last or if there will be any start-up problems when that happens. Smaller window display thermometers are hard to find. Delighted to find this at Lowe's. Have ours in the kitchen window so it is in a location to be easily accessible.
Much ado about not much.
Would Not RecommendIt's a digital thermometer. The batteries to run it will cost more than the thermometer. The cheap suction cup will not hold it up on glass (do they ever work?), and there's nothing else to hang it with. Guess I could use duct tape. Or next time the hubby could simply buy the plain old wall thermometer I asked for.
not accurate
Would Not Recommendseems to be out of calibration but can call to fix, didn't have that option with my application.
Digital Value
Would RecommendIt does what it's supposed to do. Great if you want an easily readable numeric readout. Seems to be accurate as well. You will need to shine a light on it if it's dark, but that would be expecting too much from a battery powered device.
Temperature is always off
Would Not RecommendTemperature always displays higher than other more reliable thermometers.
