I had one of these railings and my Dad needed one so I gave.
I use it to help me get in and out of bed. Didn't realize that I really needed it til I gave mine to Dad because he is worse off than I am. So I reordered a new one, came yesterday. Couldn't wait to put on bed. That's the only bad thing is you have to put strap under mattress to the other side. If you live alone it is rather hard to do. But I have a adjustable bed so it was easier.
