Go With Slip Joints
I first tried the plastic ball valve with threaded female ends, but it still dripped. I decided on the slip joint and with proper gluing it was perfect.
A+
Great valve
Make sure its the right size
Doesnt leak and glues onto the pipe just fine so no complaints
Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendThe first Valve lasted about a year. The second and last valve of this type started leaking from the top of the valve just like the first one but within one day of install. Lowe’s should consider changing supplier. The valve is fairly cheap in price but plumbers charge and arm and a leg.
Works great.
Would RecommendMake sure you have the correct size. If so, this works great.
Works good. It’s a little tight to turn but works
Would RecommendWorked as it should. Be sure not to get glue in the ball.
In line ball valve for 1" slip to slip PVC - works
Would RecommendIt's a good ball valve but it starts out pretty tight which might loosen over time. However, I don't need a lot of adjustment to slow down the pump.
Reliable ball valve that is made in the USA
Would RecommendExactly what was needed and made in Greensboro, NC!
