Mosquitos are not as bad

Ok I had my yard sprayed by a pest control company in May. In June I was still being attacked by mosquitos. The pest control company wanted me to sign a contract to come back monthly but I decided to try this product. I put the discs in my drains and any standing water. My mosquito problem has been reduced. I can’t say they are completely gone but I’m not harassed as badly as I was before. I also use citronella candles when I sitting outside.

Convenient Size

These are a good size for fountains and planter pot saucers but you have to remember to change them every 2 months or else they turn the water black. The instructions tell you they are effective for 65 days. The tablet will not be totally dissolved but it is best to remove the old one before adding the new because the older one will continue to break down and cause the water to turn the color of the tablet in smaller bodies of water. This can be unsightly in small fountains.

No squitos

Have used these in my septic overflow lagoon and have had no issues with mosquitos this summer

Works in fountain

The pellets work in the fountain on my deck to keep the mosquito larvae out. My two cats drink from the fountain and they have no harmful effects

big job for little tablet

we have a water filled ditch next to our house with mosquitoes breeding... these seem to be slowing them down!

mosquito bombs don't work

I bought this brand of mosquito repellant for my rain barrels. I previously used another brand and thought I would try this brand since the packaging made them sound superior. I put 3 in each rain barrel, they sunk to the bottom and 2 days later my barrel is still full of active mosquito larva!

Product seems very effective in standing water as advertised.

Use dunks. They work. This doesn't.

Put on in a 45 gal. Rainbarrel 3 weeks ago with no larva visible. Now have a huge number of larva. Claims of manufacturer are a blatant lie!

Mosquito bits work better

These kill everything. Frogs, tadpoles, bees, butterflies, even earthworms. Mosquito bits and dunks just kill mosquitoes and they are more effective.

Toxic

I was not looking to wipeout all forms of life, just mosquitos. Appears to have killed all algae and there are dead frogs in the water which was not the goal. Mosquito larvae still swimming around ironically.

doesn't work. period.

This product does not work. Used 2 in a small kiddie pool used by my dogs to cool off. Positively doesn't work. I actually forgot these didn't work as I purchased them a few years ago and they didn't work then either. Won't make that mistake again.

Recommended by a friend aand found it at Lowe's !!

It was recommended by a friend who has a coy pond. So I was curious if it would work for a pond also. After purchasing I used the whole pack on my small pond. I am happy to say I can again walk around my pond after a significant decrease in mosquitos. As a added bonus my grandkids can also not be distracted, by the buzzing of mosquitos around their ears, as they prepare to catch a fish !!! What can be better than a watching your grandkids catch a fish !!!

So far so good!

Working great in the bird bath so far. Mosquito season is under way, hope they continue to work throughout the season
