Would Not RecommendThe filters now only last 3 weeks, while in the past we would get 2 to 3 months before needing to replace. We use the same treatment fluid and our water is the same. So, has the manufacturing of these filters changed since last year? After 3 weeks, the filter is hard and no longer wicks the water up the filter. I then flip the filter over and it gives me another day or two, but then have to replace it.

Would Not RecommendHere in Arizona, these wicks stop working after about two weeks. I tried rotating the wick and even tried using vinegar (read online to clean wick to extend life). I have a water softener, so hard water deposits were not a problem. Fortunately for me, I had the Aircare unit for less than 30 days. Lowes refunded me the money. Packaging makes filter difficult to use.
Would Not RecommendThe filter lacks any real structure for it to keep its shape. When you take it out of the box, the filter is folded up on itself. You have to unfold it and then roll it in the opposite direction it was folded to try and make it usable--and then keep it rolled up for a few minutes before it can be installed with minimal hassle. The filter lasts for maybe 30 days until it has to be replaced if you have really hard water.
