Would RecommendThis product does what it needs to do, but it is kind of pricey. Depending on the hardness of your water, it will last from 700 to 1000 hours of operation. 1000 hours is about 42 days of continuous operation, so you might be able to get by with only two of these filters during the heating season. In colder climates and those with harder water, you will probably need 3. At about $22 apiece, that relates to about $44 to $66 per year. Kind of a chunk of change for basically just paper.

Replacement wick just in case
Would RecommendBought as a replacement filter for the humidifier. I expect the original one supplied with the humidifier to last all winter, but bought this replacement as backup. Just in case a needed it and wouldn’t have to go to the store to get a replacement only to find they were out.
