Would RecommendI was laying some flooring in a luandry room and needed something the seal the joints, this item worked well. THe problem was that it was not located where the Lowe's app said it was suppose be and very few store employees know where it was located.
Useful Tool for laying linoleum square flooring
Would RecommendInstalled my first linoleum floor with 1ft x 1ft square tiles. This roller was easy to use and helped get a strong seal between the tile and luan subfloor. Definitely was a well worth purchase if the floor lasts.
Heavy duty tool gets job done
Would RecommendI really like the ease of use and durability of this item! Worked really well for the flooring project we did.
Excellent purchase
Would RecommendExcellent for laminate wood, make the work faster.
Roller
Would RecommendIt did the job well. My daughter replace carpet for vinyl wood tiles in her large bedroom. The roller is indispensable for making sure they stick. Rolling pin does OK, but you can't get the force, and you can't get the edges without this Kobalt tool. Seemed a little over priced, but not bad. I've only had it for 1 week, so no info on durability. It lasted well through one room.
Useful tool
Would RecommendI bought this to press down vinyl peel & press 6" X 48" planks I was installing in a hallway. This did a good job of applying pressure by leaning on it as I rolled it over the vinyl tile.
Worked perfect
Would RecommendThe wide rollers and long handle were way easier to use than a J roller.
Quality Tool
Would RecommendThis roller helped us put the finishing touch on a new laminate plank floor. Its sturdy and easy to use.
I found it ridiculous ...
Would RecommendI found it ridiculous that I could not purchase this product at the Presque Isle, Maine store because it was not stocked there. I drove 180 miles to the Bangor, Maine store to buy it. Presque Isle allegedly does not stock it because they sell laminate installations. So much for DIY … Other then that, a wonderful tool that has earned a valued spot on the peg board.
Simple But Handy Tool
Would RecommendI used this while installing vinyl plank flooring. Using this tool and some body weight worked great to seam the pieces together.
Easy to use
Would RecommendI used this to roll the seams of resilient vinyl plank floor that had glue strip connectors. Easy to use, good value.
Limited application
Would RecommendI found this roller applicable to the extent it was designed for. Do not expect to use this roller on an entire floor, unless you have several hours and are in excellent shape. It works great in tight areas, corners and edges, PERIOD!
*** AWESOME ***
Would RecommendIf you do smaller floors as well as counters and you have trouble navigating (or cannot justify owning) a big 100 lb roller this Kobalt 3-wheeled roller is a thing of beauty. I have been stuck using little j-rollers in the past to smooth out glue-down vinyl flooring in smaller areas like kitchens and bathrooms of apartments and it has always been a terrible stuggle to push all of the air pockets out. However... I just used this new Kobalt 3-wheeled roller last night to lay a bathroom vinyl floor...
