What Customers Are Saying

The diesel fuel can has a flawed design that makes it challenging to use. The short spout nozzle, weak actuating handle, and difficult safety switch cause frequent spills and messes. The non-vented can also results in slow, uneven fuel flow, requiring the user to hold the can in awkward positions. While some found the can durable, the overall consensus is that it is a poorly engineered product that should be avoided in favor of higher-quality alternatives.

I use it without the useless spout

Would Not Recommend

The politically correct government spill less spout is useless, much like the over paid engineer that designed it . In the old days you could use the open spout and not spill a drop, now I have to remove the spout and pour right from the can. It spills all over, but what can you do, I don't have a half an hour to pour 5 gallons of diesel.

Grade A JUNK

Would Not Recommend

The safety spout is terrible, mine broke away from can spilling fuel all over very expensive fire retardant pants, ruining their intended purpose. It is a shame that you have to go buy a funnel because the spout is such junk!

Plastic Diesel Gas Jugs

Would Recommend

The jugs appear to be very durable using a yellow heavy plastic. The only complaint is the included spout that has a valve that requires pressing hard to allow fuel to flow. Very cumbersome!

Works for my use

Would Recommend

I’m not a fan of the nozzles being foisted upon us buyers, but understand that manufactuer’s hands are tied by govt regulations. Luckily for me, I don’t really need the nozzle. My application just requires the tank hold fuel and the cap seals tight. I use these cans to cart diesel to my boat and use a siphon to get it into the tank. As far as holding fuel, they seem to do just fine.

Diesel Fuel Can

Would Not Recommend

We bought this to fill up our tractor, which means we had to hold it upside down to pour it in. The spout pours sooooooo slow and then it snapped and my feet took a diesel fuel bath. Not a huge fan. Going to buy the surecan with the spout on the bottom. It's more expensive, but worth every penny.

Bad news!

Would Not Recommend

This container should include a handle at rear to assist in tipping when fueling. The notched cap is a safety feature, I guess, but it is an effort disengage notches to open cap. The fueling nozzle requires, depress and click, but is not user friendly when inserting in tank. It will disengage and stop fueling. You will need to re-engage with left hand as you try to manage a full container with your left hand. It promotes spills at the fill point due to trying to keep nozzle slider engaged. Overa...

Bought two

One desiel fuel container had a split seam on top. Leaked when I poured out into tractor fuel tank. I ran a hit knife over leaking seam to seal it.

Spout is difficult to use

Would Recommend

It holds 5 gals of diesel but it is hard to make the spout work. I got covered in diesel trying to refill a lift.

Diesel can

Would Recommend

They work as expected or as good as an easy pour diesel can could.
