Read and reread directions.
Would RecommendIt took couple tries to figure the placing but once I did they worked well. Hung 4 wall paintings with these. One small problem was one painting had double wire and it was thicker than the width of the mounting hook. I bent out the hook and it worked.

Pitiful
Would Not RecommendI attempted to hang a large picture with this product. Barely avoided a disaster by picture falling off wall. Not sure where all these great ratings come from. Consider this product returned for refund

Functional but frustrating adhesive.
Would RecommendI've use competitors "claw" like picture hangers in the past... and from an end result, the 3M Claw is just as effective as theirs. I DO like the position marking method used on the 3M Claw but grew frustrated with trying to take off the protective paper from the 'white' side of the position marker. It took a long time to take that paper off and both my wife and I grew very frustrated.
