Ratings & Reviews for 3M All Weather Gray Rubberized Duct Tape 1.88-in x 40 Yard(s)

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roll was sent to me to use and review the product. I was able to use it right before it rained and in cold weather. The first application was a water hose and I wrapped from about 2 inches below the leak and 2 inches above the leak. I was pleasantly surprised that it has stayed on and has stopped the leak. I also used the tape to hold some foam insulation that is on my a/c unit and it has been through a couple of days of rain and col...

The only tape I will buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a harsh climate. We always have freezing winters with lots of snow and wind. I used this outside for a few projects and even in the middle of winter it has held up great. Great product.

It’s Duct Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this recently and it works like duct tape should, easy to tear and not overly sticky. Adheres well and seems to be doing it’s job. It’s made for outside applications and it’s only been a couple of weeks, but seems to be doing it’s job.

I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of 3m-country-catalog] I received this product to try for free, and try it I did. With the high winds we have been having lately my trellising for my sugar snap peas broke and so I repaired it with this duct tape. We have had days of rain afterwards and it's still holding strong and looking like new.

Still going after a week

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it in the shower to cover a rusty fixture and a week later it’s still in place

Tough Stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my review. First, I used this tape outside in 30-degree weather. I had a motion sensor light that fell from its location on the garage. I used the duct tape to stick that little guy back up in the winter, and it is doing great so far! Regular duct tape wouldn't have worked in that temperature, this is tough stuff!

Ohio Weather Helper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this to repair some tarps my husband uses at work. They have held up great. The tape is firmly stuck, no fraying or peeling. I think it will prolong replacement of the tarps for some time.

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a free sample from 3M and its exactly what we needed for our outdoor shed!

Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used on some tools I had in the shed, not bothered by the weather, great product, strength is excellent, seems water proof.

Adheres to cold concrete!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a product sample to test and found it remarkably durable and effective to temporarily cover a drafty foundation vent in a basement area being used for a workshop.

Works on everything I could use it on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this a few weeks ago to try out for a review, and Im really liking this tape. Its still pretty soon, but so far, Ive temp-repaired a couple of items outside and the tape is still holding up to the cold and wet.

GREAT for out doors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are painting our front porch over these past months and we have been having trouble with the standard duct tape/painters tape, peeling off the stucco of the house. This duct tape sticks and HOLDS, it doesn't move at all no matter what the weather is. Great product.

Fantastic -- Wow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M All Weather Duct Tape is even better than I'd hoped. We live in New England & have canvas enclosures on our property where some of our tools are stored. After a storm, a branch came down and sliced the top of one --- great. I saw that this tape was all-weather so I gave it a try... and it worked perfectly! It's strong but easy to use & has now held the canvas together after both an ice storm & a snow storm. To say we're impressed is...

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of days ago and it has helped keep my window from leaking. Thank you 3M. Keep the amazing products coming.

Awesome tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great holding ability especially outside. Loving it.

Works perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to test, and I used it for a unique situation. I have a fairly new pair of expensive canvas sneakers that I tore on the side right above the rubber, when a pallet jack at my job ran into it. No way to really get that repaired. I used a piece of this tape on the inside of the shoe, starting on the insole and going up the side, stuck to the fabric and closing the rip. So far so good. it's cold here and sometimes wet, and I wear th...

Strong and sticky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a sample and haven't been able to use it a lot, however so far it's strong and very sticky

All Weather Tape is the Best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape for some outside repairs and it worked great! It stands up to the weather and is still as sticky as it was upon application. It is easy to rip off a big or small piece, whatever is necessary for the job. I received the product free from 3M and I'm so glad I tried it out!

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try this product out and I am so glad I did, 3M All Weather Duct Tape is better than I thought it would be, it held strong, even when wet, tore smoothly, secured the item I needed this item for better than glues or other tapes. This product is strong, durable, reliable, and does what it says it will and it's for any weather too which is such a bonus. I plan to buy this product in the future and I recommend to all.

This tape is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M All Weather Duct Tape is an excellent product! The tape is an all weather tape that works great inside and out. The tape is black with a texture and is a medium thick tape. The tape provides a very strong hold, I tried pulling it off of my desk and it actually pulled my desk with it, it is very adhesive and strong. The tape holds very securely and can be torn by hand without losing any strength. The tape will hold anything you want it to...
