Scrub Layer Falls Off

3M has drastically changed the quality of their non-scratch sponges. The scrubber layer separates from the sponge almost immediately. Customer service complaint did not result in a remediation. Evidently 3M changed the adhesive. Their planned obsolescence bet was lost on this customer. I won't buy scrubbing sponges any longer. Period. Product is junk now !!

I agree with a recent post . I used to love these sponges ! But now chunks fall off in the first week of normal use . The last straw for me was when the whole scrub pad separated from the sponge on the second day . Too many rich companies cutting corners to make even more money . And making products smaller and charging more for them !! Fun it wouldn’t let me complete my review with a 0- never recommend for this sponge ?? So I had to choose 1 . Lol

Disappointing product

Very disappointed with this product. I have used these before and I don’t know if they have redesigned their product but these sponges separate from the scrubbing pad ever time I use them. I don’t know if I have a bad package but it’s happened with every sponge. If this is their new design I will have to find another product different product.

Disappointed, but not surprised

Hey 3M. Start reading your reviews. Your sponges USED to provide value. If you squeeze out the water after each use you could get months of use BECAUSE THEY WOULD REMAIN INTACT. This is no longer the case. Now, they fall apart and crumble away into the sink strainer. Obviously you have changed the formula so they fall apart so we have to buy them more often. They suck now, much thinner and dont last. The quality is in the tank allng with everything else I buy.

Where, Oh Where Are My Scotchbrite Sponges?

Substandard quality seems to be everywhere frustrating consumers, and your blue sponges have joined the others. I have been a Scotch-Brite cellulose user for many decades. My most recent experiences with the blue sponges has been disappointing. They are overall much thinner, the blue scrubby side is now thicker but the actual sponge is much thinner than older generation of this sponge. These sponges are terrible. They fall apart after one or two uses. Three times stronger? Laughable. So frustrating. Your product is garbage.

Something has changed, blue sponge is now weaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For decades this sponge has been excellent. Most recent purchase, the sponge is falling apart - tearing - missing chunks and such just washing regular dishes. We have a collection of used blue sponges that are retired from dishes but good for dirtier cleaning. Now the latest sponges are falling apart so much they go into the trash as there isn't much left of the sponge side. Quality has gone way down.

Total disappointment

I bought a six pack of these spounges and I could not be more disappointed. I only got one maybe two uses before the spounge started falling off the pad. I have use scotch bright brand spounges for years and never had such poor quality.

They've changed

Ive been buying these for many many years and this last pack was awful !! The sponge is falling apart and Im constantly picking up little pieces... These use to last for Several weeks and would show no signs of falling apart. If the quality doesnt change for the better I will no longer buy these. I tried to add pictures but it wouldnt let me.

New sponges falling apart

I purchased a 6 pack of sponges scotch bright blue. Every single one has fallen apart within a week. There are chunks of the sponge that just keep coming off. If you advertise quicker and stronger that is not happening with this pack at all. Very dissatisfied.

Zero Scratch + Two Sides = Only sponge needed!

I have used this sponge on my cook ware that had left over food attached even after using in the dishwasher. It's a solid sponge that I'll rely on more than any others. The blue color is also amazing! Thanks Scotch Brite for allowing me to sample them.

Acts like other scrubbing sponges but does flake

These behave like most scrubbing sponges, I didn't really see any significant difference between these and any other brand of scrubbing sponges. They are made of recycled scrubbing fibers which is fine but it claims that they are 3x quicker & stronger which I don't believe to be true. I also noticed little blue flecks left on items after cleaning so they are not that durable.

Reliable daily use sponges

Scotch Brite Zero Scratch

Good quality non-scratch sponges

They're a great sponge and work well for items that don't need aggressive scrubbing. I like the shape of this sponge as well since the swooped, pointed corner allows me to get into smaller spots easier.
