Ehhh--not so great for me

We ended up with two holes in the ceiling after removing a long light fixture. I saw this in store and thought it would be helpful as I was having to do this on a 9 foot ceiling. It was junk. It took longer to dry than directions. There was no way this was going to look good at all after sanding even with going well outside the original hole size. So--ripped them both out, sanded it down (now my laundry room is a mess) and have used the tub of patch plus primer (which I do actually like) to...

Dries very hard, not a traditional spackle

This is for repair, not so much for nail holes. Good for cracks and large holes. Does not clean up like traditional spackle. It dries hard on your tools, so remove from tools when done. It does have paint in it so needs to be mixed from the bottom to top. Since it is paint, if you get on your hands or clothes and do not wash right away, it will stain. After on the wall, I had to sand some spots to smooth out. Keep it very light. Once dry, you can't use a sponge to smooth it out like traditional ...

Wall repair kit is not worth buying.

Applied wall repair kit as directed. I have had a difficult time covering this product with paint! I do not recommend it.

Easy to use

We had a hole in the wall behind our front door (i.e. rough husband and kid). I got this kit and patched it up. The kit was easy to use and I could only tell where it was after painting over it because I knew to look for it. I then bought a large door knob protector to put over the patch to prevent future issues. I plan to use it to patch a spot where a towel rack used to be as well.

Brilliant!!! Perfect for a small job!! An all-in-one kit to repair a hole. Beats opening a can of spackle and not using it all for small jobs, then seeing it go to waste.. I like that this product is offered in various sizes to. Absolutely awesome stuff!!!

Well this product surprised me.

Had a nice size hole in some dry wall and this patch kit worked like a charm and I was truly skeptical. I applied the patch...... did a skim coat of patching compound and then left it dry for a while. Came back sanded and applied a 2nd coat of patching material to feather out the edges a bit more and let it dry for a few days. Then final sand and then painted over with some left over flat wall paint I had. I'm really surprised I can't tell where the hole was.

I found a large hole in the wall behind the light fixture over my kitchen sink. I used this product to fill the hole and it came out great.

Does the job!

The mesh patch adheres well and accepts the patching compounds. Follow the directions and you will have an almost unnoticeable repair.

Did the job

I purchased this patch kit to cover some holes. Most were just nail holes in the walls. But one, I did need the mesh. I cut the mesh with heavy duty scissors, and used it to cover the hole and spread the putty. Dried quickly and was paintable!!
