Would Not RecommendThe base and the top are very roughly made, uneven and not at all level. I stopped using the bird bath because neighborhood animals have knocked over the extremely heavy top jumping up to get a drink of water. luckily none were killed or injured. This bird bath is also dangerous to humans.

Would RecommendThis is a nice bird bath and the birds love it. However, it's hard to keep clean and dries out easily. I have two in my front yard, full sun and part shade in the morning, except for in the Fall. The amount of mildew and pink mold is crazy. I've tried banking soda and vinegar, dawn dish liquid, and even Mean Green. None of them could remove all of the build up and it smells horrible. The only way to get rid of it is pressure washing. Even still then, some specs are left. Had I known before hand,...

Wanted a concrete birdbath that the bowl was on the stand securely so it would not topple off if the dogs bumped or put their paws on it. This one sits very solid. It is very pretty. Bowl depth is great. Not too shallow, but not so deep that birds could drown. Good height too, not so low to the ground that cats or dogs could easily catch the birds. Birds seem to prefer concrete especially over slippery glass ones. This fit all the criteria that we were looking for.
