Would RecommendIt was a hard sell only because it was already a little chipped. Fortunately my niece asked me look past that. She felt it gave the bird bath personality. One of the best gifts ever purchased. Bought it for my parents’ garden. They loved it. It has already attracted several of the birds in the area.

Bowl surface deteriorates
Would Not RecommendBowl interior surface deteriorates and chips off, so now I have to use a giant silver bowl on top so the water stays cement bit free. The base is solid, windproof (less hurricane) and that is a plus at least. I use it year-round, with a heat element for the winter to keep it ice free in Minnesota. It also doesn't hold enough water, constantly refilling in summer/winter; but the pollinators, birds and rodents all need their water as human develop while wildlife are driven off.
