Would RecommendLike all Flex tools it is head amd shoulders above my old tools. The speed and power are second to none. It cuts exceptionally well and has tons of power. I thought my old saw was great but after using this Flex saw the difference unquestionable.

Alternative use: Yard Work
Would RecommendI have been using this reciprocating saw to lop many heavy palm fronds and pruning other thick tree limbs throughout my 2.5 acre property. I used to use chain saws, loppers, and hand saws. This makes it much easier.

Great for smaller trees and fruit trees
Would RecommendThis did away with my need to use pruning loppers, a mini chain saw, and a 14-inch chainsaw for the annual drudgery of trimming the trees in my yard (under 10 feet high). In fact, it made it kind of fun, actually! The variable speed trigger and light are my favorite parts of the design.
