I normally don't write reviews but after wasting time with other brands finding one that actually worked as intended surprised me. Yes this is good stuff. Worked on carpet and on in my truck floors. 100s of uses really.

Good quality clear plastic, strong and reliable for basement.

There is a start line that makes it easy to open.

It stays put well and protected my carpet from workers tracking dirt from my crawl space. Afterwards, I pulled it up and it not only removed with the surface dirt but pulled up any lint, etc. from the carpet. After it was all over, I just did a basic vacuum instead of a deep vacuum and shampoo. Well worth it!

Impossible to “install” for a novice. Perhaps this is a better product for professionals. But not worth the frustration. Next time I need to protect carpets, I’ll use blankets.

waste of money

I spent 86$ on this supposedly protection for edge of carpet at bottom of walls, it did not stick, would not stick no matter what I did, the name says carpet sheikd so why it would not stick is beyond me but now I've wastes 86$ and want my money back, bc it didn't work at all& I followed directions

Stays down and easy to remove.

Needed to protect some carpeted stair runners and rugs during a construction project. This was easy to apply and made it easy to clean up at the end. Highly recommend when working or walking through carpeted areas during construction.
