3 of 12 broke on first hit with mallet
they are nice as long as there are no "eyes" in them. i just got them in and went to block off my new grass, and first hit, the darker part (i assume it is the EYE ), and they snapped right there, bad part is, it was half way down the stake.

Would Not RecommendDo you really need to see a review of a simple stake? Just buy these … they are reasonably priced and the quality is sufficient for DIY and construction projects sites with ground that is not hard as a bone.

We're using these to stake our garden beds into the ground so they don't move around. They seem like they'll work well for that. One in the package was already coming apart when we purchased it but hopefully they'll hold up better than that one did.
