Better than Behr

I've tried many different brands of paint- behr, clark & kensington, etc., and I think this is the best paint out there. Plus, the price is less than the other brands. I'm a believer in valspar now!

Great coverage

Awful

Very difficult paint to work with, uneven coverage, and way more transparent than I was expecting from a paint/primer mix. 4 coats and it still isn't even. will never use this brand again.

Great Product

Horrible paint

I bought this paint this week to paint our daughter’s bedrooms. We are on our third coat and it’s not wanting to cover. It was a medium grey before. We followed the directions between coats and had nice rollers and brushes. We have used a gallon of paint on a 12x24 room and still don’t have it covered.

Amazing interior paint

This was my second time using Valspar Signature for a home project and I'm never going back to anything lesser. The color is absolutely stunning on my office walls - cafe blue - and the coverage was so good that I only needed to do two coats without primer. It is covering walls that had both light and dark pink on them, and it covered them so evenly and quickly that I ended up only needing one gallon and returned the second one I got. Highly recommend!

The Eggshell goes on like a semi-gloss. Junk.

In trying this paint for the first time, the results were horrible. I tried using it on a textured wall that had been previously painted with a white, flat paint. This Valspar Signature Eggshell showed every brush mark. It is junk! An Eggshell paint should not go on like a semi-gloss. What a waste of money.

This is the worst paint I've ever used

I have been a Behr loyalist for years...every room in my 2000sqft house has been painted over the past 5 years and it's always been Behr. I decided to give something else a try, save a little bit and just step outside the box, this product is so unbelievably bad I would only recommend it to my worst enemies. I cut in with a brush and then did one coat with the roller, it was dripping all over the place and went on paper thin...you could see straight thru. It wasnt covering anything dark, ther...

Good paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a gallon of satin-finish to paint the kids’ bathroom. Added a little bottle of anti-mold and mildew stuff. Used a roller for the walls and ceiling, and a brush to get the corners. Seems like it went on alright, but I am going to do another coat.

Smooth and clear

Great Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted this bathroom for the first time, overtop the builder grade paint. This was after the first coat (though not quite dry in the photo). Great coverage, and I didn’t notice much odor which was nice since this was a small room. Color is Rocky Mountain Mist.

Great paint with fantastic coverage!

This paint is great! It covers most areas with one coat. I am very impressed and happy.
