Lasting paint

Perfict match

I had custom made paint on my walls, and needed to touch up some places after ten years. I cut a swatch the size of a postage stamp from the back side of my closet,took it to Lowes to try and match, the color was so close I just did some touch up spots, and my wife thought I painted the whole wall it blended so well.....Thanks Lowes!!

Great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this paint about 2 months ago for my bedroom. It's new construction so I was concerned about the coverage and cover up it would give for the uh-ohs in the drywall. Needless to say, I loved this paint. It covered most of the blemishes, except for my big marks in the wall from the sander, lol. Overall a great paint. I painted a 12 x 12 room with 2 gallons and my bedroom came out gorgeous. Thank you Valspar.

Flat is not a true flat

I was so disappointed that the flat Valspar Signature is not a true flat. It dried with a sheen. I painted a very deep blue and wanted a true light absorbing flat. Dark colors with a sheen does not give the same look. So very disappointed. It was a lot of work to paint two cut ins and roll two coats, then see it didn't dry flat. I even thought maybe the sales clerk mixed the wrong sheen (eggshell or satin) but no, the cans all state flat.

Disguise your textured walls with flat paint!

My textured walls are the worst! I bought this flat paint to help minimize the visual impact of the orange peel walls, and I think it worked well. Just be aware that this paint is delicate and scratches easily!

Disappointed

Bought signature to paint a 12×12 room and followed directions. It took 2 gallons and dissatisfied with results. Have never had such a difficulty in paint applications. Paint just didn't co er properly. Walls were a light colored do we didn't expect to have to apply multiple coats.

Do not buy this paint

Did not cover in one coat. Said paint and primer and color mix NOT as sample. Took it back and said color was off. Girl got snippy with me and said even if she redid it it would come out the same. Maybe the machine was off in setting did not have enough green pigment? This was not an option for her. Refused any solution. So l will mot buy any of Lowes paint anymore. I am stuck with a painted surface the wrong color even after 2 coats. Over priced paint + snippy girl = lost customer.

Wife likes it.

Covers good and doesn't terrible.

I'm very please with the way the new paint job is coming out at my new house. It looks so much better now.
