True blackout Shade alternate
Would RecommendWe purchased expensive rail style blackout shades for our master bathroom and bedroom and loved them. We couldn't make that style work on our front door. We saw these in Lowes, had it cut to size, and went with this style throughout the house. We put these shades on six windows for less than half the price of true 100% blackout shades. These shades block out about 95% of the outside light.

No handle and none for purchase either
Would Not RecommendThe display in the store has a handle. But it turns out they only give you one if you pay for them to install! Who knew, I bought for 9 windows and need 9 handles- what is a customer to do?! These do not stay all the way down when you pull down, they want to float back up an inch. I am constantly fighting that and touching the fabric while trying to push downward on the base to no avail. They need magnetic hold downs and of course A HANDLE. Otherwise they are good.
