I painted my walls

It’s paint. It covered my walls. Some areas need more than 1 coat.

Smooth, finish, but did need more than one coat

This paint has a one coat guarantee, but in my experience I did need more than one coat to get full coverage—even though I wasn’t painting over a dark color. I didn’t bother with the guarantee because it wasn’t a big deal for me. That said, I really like that it has primer built in, which makes the process easier. It goes on smoothly, is easy to work with, and once it dries it looks completely flawless with a really nice finish. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

Best Paint

I love buying Valspar paint as it looks good om my walls. Its easy to clean when something gets on the wall.

Expensive, quality paint, but requires two coats.

Paint produced a nice finish, but it did not cover in just one coat as advertised on the label. The room we painted has a relatively small surface area, so the extra second coat was still barely enough to finish the job.

My go to paint

I've tried lots of different brands and kinds of paint, this is the only one I will use going forward. Truly one coat cover which saves so much work. I love the finish of the eggshell. Cleans up great.

Quality Paint

From the stroke of the brush you know you are using a high quality finish. Covers well and the longer than average work time all but eliminates flashing when product is applied properly. Excellent paint yielding beautiful results.

Paint failed to cure to wall

Paint failed to cure to walls after a full week of curing. After 1 week I taped the edge to edge of the wall to paint the ceiling. When I thought I was done, I removed the tape and massive chunks were stuck to the back of the tape. Now I need to do touch up with this clearly inferior product.

I really dislike this paint!

I usually love Valspar. It has always been my first choice of paint. But this time I hated the color, it took way to many coats to cover, and all around a disappointing experience. As a matter fact I'm going to repaint right away.

Worth the money

This is an awesome product with excellent coverage, and scuff resistance! The eggshell finish on it is perfect for most of the house, and the full coverage does not change even for dark colors! Way better than Behr paints.
