One Coat it is NOT

Splurged on this paint primarily because of the one-coat coverage aspect. Just wrapped up putting second coat on because it absolutely needed a second coat. Frustrating enough that I've lost trust in the entire Valspar line of paint. Also noted that the sheen is slightly different depending on how the paint roller ends. Where i ended pushing upwards vs downwards, the sheen comes out different. I've ... never seen that happen before.

Good choice for interior paint.

Not quite the coverage I hoped for

It did not cover in one coat. I am painting white over a light khaki. I've ended up using KILZ first then using the paint. Also you need to wait at least 12 hours till its completely dry to judge if one coat will do it.

Do NOT BUY!!!!

While I am not a Pro, I have painted a lot. This paint is TERRIBLE!!! I used it in a sprayer and could not get a smooth finish! I tried to touch up some spots, and when I sanded it, it literally peeled OFF. It took forever to dry, and is still "soft", like I painted rubber on to the surface. There is NO way to fix it, unless you literally peal it all off the wall..... I spent over $700 on this paint.... I am so frustrated!!

Paint is amazing, but I was not told about the $5 upcharge for Satin finish until I got to the register. Clerk said paint price was final price

It doesn’t cover in 1 coat.

I selected this product because it said it would “cover in one coat”. It definitely didn’t cover in 1, I applied a second coat, and there are a few places that still aren’t fully covered.

"Way Better Than Expected—One Coat Wonder!"

I used this paint in Agreeable Grey to cover a much darker color, fully expecting to need multiple coats. To my surprise, one coat was all it took—and the results are fantastic! The coverage is incredibly impressive, and the paint went on smooth and even with very little effort. The finish is clean, professional-looking, and has completely transformed the room. Good Product Reasonable Price

Takes three coats to cover up a brown base.

I was under, apparently, the false impression that this paint would cover up a light brown base with just one coat. Wrong. It is going to take three coats. And this paint was expensive.

Poor coverage with only 1 coat

After priming with kilz, my wall still needed 2 coats. Thank goodness for the 1 coat guarantee which was the only reason I paid extra for this particular paint, the store gave me a refund. If I would have known that I would need 2 coats I would have gone with a less expensive paint.
